Contract Policy

• "The Platform" (Acrota) — Acts as an intermediary facilitating paid messaging between Clients and Experts. Acrota is not a party to the advice exchanged.
• "Client" — A registered user who sends a paid message to an Expert. The Client initiates the transaction by spending Coins.
• "Expert" — A registered user who sets a message rate and receives paid messages. The Expert earns Coins by providing timely replies.
• "Coins" — Virtual currency purchased via Razorpay and used exclusively within the Acrota platform.
• "Escrow" — The temporary holding of Coins between payment and reply delivery, ensuring protection for both parties.

By sending a paid message on Acrota, you agree to the following:

• You understand that sending a message constitutes a paid request for the Expert's time, not a guarantee of any specific outcome.
• Coins are deducted from your wallet at the time of sending and held in escrow.
• If the Expert replies within 72 hours, the transaction is considered complete. Coins are released to the Expert.
• If the Expert does not reply within the response window, Coins are automatically refunded to your wallet.
• If the Expert rejects your message, you receive a full refund.
• Cash refunds for purchased Coins are available within 5 days of purchase. After this period, Coins remain in your wallet for platform use.
• Each transaction covers one message and one reply. Follow-up questions require a new paid message.

By setting a message rate and accepting messages on Acrota, you agree to the following:

• You are responsible for replying to paid messages within the 72-hour response window.
• Failure to reply within the window results in an automatic refund to the Client. No earnings are credited to you.
• You may reject messages that are inappropriate, irrelevant, or fall outside your area of expertise. The Client will receive a full refund.
• Upon successful reply, you receive 90% of the message value. Acrota retains 10% as a platform fee.
• Withdrawals are available once your balance exceeds 100 Coins. Processing takes 3-5 business days via linked bank account.
• You must not share personal contact details (phone, email, social media) to circumvent the platform's payment system.
• Low-quality or template responses may result in negative ratings, platform warnings, or account suspension.

Acrota commits to the following:

• Processing all payments securely through Razorpay (PCI DSS Level 1 certified).
• Holding Coins in escrow until the Expert replies or the response window expires.
• Automatically processing refunds when Experts do not reply within the response window.
• Investigating disputes and taking appropriate action as outlined in our Dispute Resolution policy.
• Protecting user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Providing transparent fee structures with no hidden charges.

• Acrota facilitates communication but does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any Expert's advice or response.
• Users engage with Experts at their own risk. Acrota is not liable for decisions made based on advice received through the platform.
• Acrota's total liability for any claim is limited to the Coin value of the specific transaction in dispute.
• Acrota is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

• You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Remaining Coin balance may be withdrawn subject to the minimum withdrawal threshold.
• Acrota may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, the Terms of Service, or any applicable law.
• Upon termination for policy violations, any remaining Coin balance may be forfeited at Acrota's discretion.
• Sections relating to liability, dispute resolution, and governing law survive termination of this contract.
